What's Up With Me

Summer is just about over and the fall is fast approaching! This is one of my favorite times of year here in Kansas! I get to ride the bikes more, the convertibles and just all around enjoy being outside. Reminds me of Chula Vista weather which I really miss! We had a couple of significant events so far in 2024. Rawlan, Bobby and Jaleah's oldest son joined his cousin, Jasper at K-State studying music education. We really miss them! VJ just turned 16! and Sondra just turned 65! Wow!

We have had a busy year at Faith Chapel! Our four campuses are doing very well with exceptional Pastors at each! I am still doing some counseling and teaching at MidAmerica Nazarene University and the Kansas Network School of Ministry. We will celebrate the beginning of our 33rd year of ministry at Faith Chapel and it has been an amazing 3 plus decades! Sondra continues to stay rally busy Co-Pastoring and running her own consulting business, SLC Consulting. Bobby is an Assistant Principle at Piper High School and Heather is an Art Teacher here in Olathe! The grands are all busy with various activities at school and at the church! We are very proud of them. I have bought and sold a few VW's these last few months. That continues to be a fun and worthwhile hobby. Sondra and I visited Hawaii after 34 years it has changed a lot since our honeymoon! We plan to be in California for Bethany Churches 100th Anniversary! We served there 12 of those 100 years. I have so many amazing memories of family youth group activities and experiences. Will update soon-Thanks for reading!
